1,200 arrested in Central Luzon for hoarding, overpricing alcohol

SAN FERNANDO, Pampanga – A buy bust operation conducted by Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) Regional Field Unit 3 yielded over P500,000-worth of alcohol in raids conducted from March 20 to 25.

Police said 17 suspects from nabbed from different provinces of Central Luzon, and they will be charged for alleged profiteering, hoarding and selling overpriced alcohol.

According to the CIDG, there were four arrests each made in Nueva Ecija and Bulacan, three from Tarlac, two from Pampanga, and one each from Bataan and Zambales. The others arrested were from the cities of Angeles and Olongapo.
