DOST to hold expo on disaster preparedness and response

The Department of Science and Technology (DOST) will be having its “Innovation on Disaster Preparedness and Response Expo” next month at the at the World Trade Center, Pasay City.


Organized by the DOST – Technology Application and Promotion Institute (DOST-TAPI), the expo will showcase the DOST agencies’ technologies, innovations, inventions, and initiatives on disaster risk reduction and management (DRRM) with the theme, “Science for the People: Safer, Adaptive and Prepared Filipino Communities toward Sustainable Development.

Moreover, it is aimed at raising awareness on the existing disaster risks and environmental issues that could pose harm and danger to humanity.
