House bill declares Immaculate Conception Parish in Nueva Ecija a pilgrimage site

The House Committee on Tourism has passed a bill declaring Immaculate Conception Parish Church, Sanctuary of the Holy Face of Jesus in Nampicuan, Nueva Ecija as a pilgrimage site and tourist destination.

House Bill No. 292, principally authored by Nueva Ecija Rep. Estrellita B. Suansing, was approved by the panel, presided by its vice chairperson, Leyte Rep. Lucy Torres-Gomez.

Suansing noted that HB 292 was filed as HB 7291 during the 17th Congress and was passed on third, and final reading.
