Construction of a four-storey building that will serve as the new Internal Affairs Service (IAS) building for the Philippine National Police (PNP) is now under way, Public Works and Highways Secretary Mark Villar said.

Villar, who led the ground breaking ceremony of the building on Friday said the building will be constructed “to provide a decent workplace for IAS personnel who are in-charge of investigating erring police officers which since its creation in 1998 has not occupied
