Bishop defends CBCP president from attacks made by DFA secretary

Catholic Bishops’ Conference of the Philippines (CBCP) Vice President Caloocan Bishop Pablo Virgilio David has taken the cudgels for CBCP President Davao Archbishop Romulo Valles, after the latter was attacked in a Twitter post by Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) Secretary Teddy Locsin, Jr.

In his Facebook account, David cited the credentials of Valles, who was called a “moron” and an “ecclesiastical idiot” by Locsin, following the Church’s leaders request for prayers for Vice President Leni Robredo after her acceptance of the drug czar post.
