Pasay City doubles monthly financial aid for public school students

The P500 monthly financial aid being given to the city’s public school students will be doubled starting January next year as announced by Pasay City Mayor Emi Calixto-Rubiano in her State of the City Children’s Address (SOCCA) Thursday.

Rubiano said that former city mayor, and now Representative Tony Calixto, allocated a total of P320-million giving city’s public school students a P500 monthly allowance during his term.

She said that 30,000 students in elementary, 30,000 high school students, and 5,000 from college are enjoying the P500 monthly allowance which is already a big help to their studies.
