Palace urges Robredo to go to Congress for ICAD budget hike

Malacañang said Vice President Leni Robredo should go to the Congress if she wanted an increase in the budget of the Inter-agency Committee on Anti-Illegal Drugs (ICAD) because the budget for 2020 was already submitted to the Legislative Branch.

Presidential Spokesman Salvador Panelo made the statement after Robredo sought for an increase in the government’s 2020 budget for the anti-illegal drugs campaign, particularly in the areas of rehabilitation and prevention.
