Nur grateful for Isko’s planned Muslim Cemetery

Moro National Liberation Front (MNLF) Chairman Nur Misuari said he is “extremely grateful” to Manila Mayor Francisco “Isko Moreno” Domagoso for planning to build the first Muslim Cemetery in the nation’s capital by 2020.

“It is extraordinary and magnificent,” Misuari told Domagoso during a meeting between the two Friday at the Manila City Hall.

The Moro revolutionary and politician lauded Mayor Domagoso for giving importance to the Muslim community especially in burial practices.

For his part, Domagoso told Misuari that he considers the Muslim Cemetery a “gift” to the community.
