4 men convicted in ad exec’s robbery-slay case

MANILA, Philippines — A Las Pias City court has convicted four men over the death of advertising executive Kristelle “Kae” Davantes in 2013.


Las Pias Regional Trial Court Branch 253 found Lloyd Benedict Enriquez, Samuel Decimo, Kelvin Jorek Evangelista, and Jomar Pepito guilty of robbery with homicide and sentenced them to reclusion perpetua or imprisonment of up to 40 years.


The men were also ordered to pay the family of Davantes P50,000 as indemnity; P50,000 for moral damages; and P25,000 for temperate damages.
