Kapamilya’s Vice Ganda was not only scolded, but was also threatened, on air by a broadcaster who claims to be a friend of Pastor Apollo Quiboloy.
This was over Vice’s “It’s Showtime” comments against the leader of the Kingdom of Jesus Christ The Name Above Every Name, a religious organization based in Davao City.
In an episode of “It’s Showtime”, Vice made these comments, which drew laughter from the audience and fellow hosts: “Ipahinto mo na ang ‘Probinsyano’. Napahinto mo pala ang lindol eh. Napakayabang niyo pala, eh..Sabi niya raw, stop. Vice was reacting to a video of Quiboloy where the pastor said he made the recent twin earthquakes in Davao stop just by saying: “Stop!”
Mike Abe, in his program aired over Quiboloy’s radio station DZAR, said he was hurt by the comments of Vice and how they made fun of the pastor, who is a known supporter of President Duterte and other politicians like former President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo.
Abe warned Vice that he should be careful because he might just cross paths with some of Quiboloy’s claimed 7 million followers.
Vice Gay! Oh bahala na kayo. Pero Vice Ganda, ‘di naman maganda eh! Lalo na ‘yung sinabi!”
Abe also urged the ABS-CBN management and the Movies and Television Review and Classification Board (MTRCB) to take action against Vice.
